AT&T SD-WAN Portal
Purpose
The AT&T Cirrus Portal was largely intended to serve their growing SD-WAN business. As Sr. Interaction Designer I worked with a small team to bring this project from research through to kick-off.
Trendscrape
We started with a trendscrape to see what industry standards and competitors were currently doing in the market. I helped mentor and oversee the trendscrape deck. We looked at everything from data visualization to complex network maps to different types of portals.
Discovery Research
To find out more about the users for this product, we conducted several in-person, phone, and virtual interviews. We used Airtable to track the sessions and document our findings.
Research Analysis
After each interview we regrouped and discussed what we heard and saw, then added those findings into the Airtable document.
Once all the interviews were complete, we printed some of the relevant quotes and pinned them to the wall. We grouped the quotes into themes, analyzed the data, and prepared a 50-page research deck that outlined the main learnings and design opportunities.
Kick-Off Deck
We scheduled and designed a three-day collaborative workshop (kick-off) with the client to learn more about the project, create alignment on goals and business objectives, and explain design thinking. To do this we created a kick-off deck that spanned the three days, including activity guides and assets.
Looking forward
This project is still underway.
